Privacy policy
Sudý/Lichý budík (“Odd/Even Alarm Clock”) is an alarm clock that runs entirely on your phone.
Data the app handles
- It collects no personal data and sends none anywhere. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no third-party crash reporting.
- Alarms, days off and settings (times, labels, selected region, chosen sound) are stored on the device only. Save to file writes a backup to a place you choose; the app does not send it anywhere.
- If Google backup is enabled, Android includes them in your device backup. That backup is managed by Google and is not accessible to the developer.
- The in-app purchase is handled by Google Play. The app only learns whether it has been paid; it never sees payment details.
Network access
The app connects to these places only:
- The public OpenHolidays API: public and school holidays, about once a week. The request contains only the country (Czechia or Slovakia) and a date range, nothing about you or your device.
- Your school's calendar, only if you enter its link: downloaded about once a week from the address you entered (e.g. the school's Google Calendar); nothing else is sent.
- Google Play, to make and verify the purchase.
As with any internet request, the operators see the requesting IP address.
Permissions
- Notifications, exact alarms, full-screen intent: so that the alarm rings on time and shows on the lock screen.
- Do Not Disturb access (Android 14 and older, only if you grant it): lets an alarm through total silence for the length of the ring. The previous mode is restored afterwards.
- Run at startup: reschedules alarms after a reboot.
- Internet: downloads holidays and, if set, the school calendar (see above).
This website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, and no fonts or scripts loaded from elsewhere. The odd/even week is calculated in your browser.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects data about no one.
